Respecting your privacy is of the utmost importance to Soluvox, the owner of the website soluvox.ca (this service). The privacy policy aims to inform you about the practices concerning the personal or confidential information we collect, use, or process.
1. Scope and Application
This privacy policy (“policy”) governs the collection, use, and retention of information obtained by Soluvox regarding individuals who access or use the service or who communicate with us, whether by email, phone, via social media, or otherwise (the “users” or “you”).
BY ACCESSING THE SERVICE OR PROVIDING US WITH PERSONAL INFORMATION, YOU CONSENT TO THE COLLECTION, USE, DISCLOSURE, AND RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED IN THIS POLICY.
The term “personal information” refers to any information that, when taken alone or in combination with other information, allows an individual to be identified, such as their name, email address, and any other information that must be treated as “personal information” under applicable laws.
This policy is an integral part of the terms of service for the service, which govern your use of the website.
2. Reasons We Collect Your Information
Personal information is collected and used for the following purposes:
- To allow you to access and properly use the service;
- To process your requests, including inquiries;
- To allow you to apply for a posted job;
- To address issues reported by you, including troubleshooting, support, optimization, and security breach investigations or data restoration;
- To assess, optimize, and improve the content and functionality of the website;
- To communicate with you regarding a request you made or your experience with our services or website;
- To offer you advertising content, including through “retargeting” (or “remarketing”), and to improve the content of our ads and service so they are better tailored to your interests;
- To track your use of the website’s features.
We only use personal information for the purposes for which it was collected.
3. Data Collected and How It Is Collected
Automatically Exchanged Data
When you access this service, your computer and our server automatically exchange data. This exchange is necessary for the server to provide a file compatible with the device you’re using. The exchanged data includes:
- Your Internet service provider’s identification;
- Your IP address (a numerical address that allows precise location of a computer connected to the Internet, e.g., 123.45.67.890);
- The type of browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Explorer) and operating system (e.g., Windows, Mac OS) you are using;
- The pages you visit;
- The date and time you access these pages;
- The referring site address, if you access this site from another website.
Most information exchanged automatically between computers does not identify you personally. They are collected due to technical requirements inherent in browsing the Internet.
Soluvox retains this data for statistical purposes. It is used to count visits and identify the most frequently visited pages, the technology used by visitors, referral site addresses, and the country of origin of visitors.
Use of Cookies
Cookies are used to facilitate navigation within the pages of this service. These cookies do not collect personal information about you. You can configure your browser to block cookies at any time. However, doing so may prevent certain features of the website from functioning properly.
If you use a computer in a public place or share a computer with other users, make sure to clear your browsing history before ending each session.
Use of Google Analytics
Soluvox uses Google Analytics on this site, a web audience measurement tool.
Using cookies, Google Analytics collects non-personal information, mainly statistical data in aggregated form, to analyze how visitors use the website.
The information collected includes your browsing on this site, which is stored on servers located primarily in the United States. Google may share this information with third parties when required by law or when those parties process the data on its behalf.
The information collected includes the pages you view, the date, time, duration, and frequency of your visits, and the links you click. The type of operating system of your computer, the language, your Internet service provider, and your geographic location (region) are also part of the information collected. Your IP address is also collected, but it is anonymized (truncated) to ensure privacy. Anonymization of an IP address prevents the identification of a user based on that address.
Google Analytics only uses the collected information to produce statistics and reports on website usage, which allows Soluvox to improve its electronic service delivery. Google will never associate the information collected on this site with other data it retains.
If you wish, you can prevent Google Analytics from recording your browsing information by installing the browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics.

If you choose to stop receiving marketing communications, we will continue to engage in other relevant activities using your personal information, including sending non-marketing messages, such as confirming contact or confirming a job application.

We make efforts to maintain physical, administrative, and technical security measures at our offices and data retention centers. Personal information is only made available to individuals (employees or agents) who need access to this information to perform their duties.
We deploy reasonable measures to protect your personal information when transmitted during your use of the website. Specifically, we use technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access or disclosure, both internally and externally from our organization.
However, no security mechanism is perfect, and you should be aware that there is always some risk of a security breach. Soluvox disclaims any liability for the disclosure of such information unless caused by our negligence.
All data, including personal information, collected during your use of the website, are stored on servers located in Canada. However, this data may be processed by third-party service providers of Soluvox located outside of Canada to fulfill mandates on our behalf. In this case, we take the necessary steps to ensure these third parties only have access to the information necessary to perform the agreed-upon services, that they process your information solely for the purposes we have defined, and that they have implemented measures to protect personal information in accordance with applicable laws and meet the same conditions and protection levels as outlined in this policy.
Hyperlinks and Third Parties
The website may contain sharing or posting options or links to third-party websites or platforms. By using or activating these links or features, you leave our website, and your browsing will be subject to the terms of use and privacy policy of those third parties.
We do not control these third-party platforms, and the mere listing of these platforms on the website does not engage our responsibility.
8. Compliance with Laws
We may disclose information about you to government agencies, law enforcement, or private parties in accordance with the law, and disclose and use this information when we believe it is necessary and appropriate to:
- Comply with applicable laws, legitimate requests, and legal proceedings, including responding to subpoenas or government authorities’ requests;
- Enforce the terms and conditions governing our products and services;
- Protect our rights, privacy, security, property, or yours or others;
- Protect against fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical, or illegal activities, investigate them, and discourage them.
9. Business Transfers
Soluvox may sell or transfer all or part of its business or assets, including your personal information, as part of a business transaction (or potential business transaction), such as a merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale in case of bankruptcy, in which case we will make reasonable efforts to ensure the protection of your personal data.
10. Your Rights

You can choose not to provide us with your personal information. If you decide not to provide the requested information, in some cases, you may no longer be able to use certain features of the website, and as a result, we may not be able to provide you with products or services. For example, we may not be able to process your request for information.
Access, modify, or delete your information
You can contact us directly to request access to, modify, or delete the information we hold about you.
11. Updates
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. In the event of an update to this policy, the date will be changed, and the updated version will be published on our website.
12. Responsible for Document Access and Personal Information Protection
The Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector grants you the following rights:
- the protection of the confidentiality of personal information;
- access to public agency documents and your personal information;
